This week I wanted to share my thoughts on the lunch lady who stole over a million dollars in chicken wings and was caught. Lunch ladies don't get enough credit and have to make due with some of the worst ingredients depending on the school. I remember growing up and having very few choices, if any, at lunch. There was pizza day, turkey, chicken or meatloaf sometimes. There was a mystery meat every once in a while and it's easy to see why schools have welcomed fast food restaurants into their schools such as Wendy's, McDonald's, Burger King, and Arby's just to name a few.

The fact that lunch ladies have to order all of the food within budget, cook it to taste for hundreds if not thousands of kids, and do it with a smile is quite a load of work that is mostly thankless.
