
LETS START-

तेरा मेरा मनुवां कैसे एक होइ रे ।


मै कहता हौं आँखन देखी, तू कहता कागद की लेखी ।

मै कहता सुरझावन हारी, तू राख्यो अरुझाई रे ॥


मै कहता तू जागत रहियो, तू जाता है सोई रे ।

मै कहता निरमोही रहियो, तू जाता है मोहि रे ॥


जुगन-जुगन समझावत हारा, कहा न मानत कोई रे ।

तू तो रंगी फिरै बिहंगी, सब धन डारा खोई रे ॥


सतगुरू धारा निर्मल बाहै, बामे काया धोई रे ।

कहत कबीर सुनो भाई साधो, तब ही वैसा होई रे ॥

So it starts with a question.. a question for the seekers or the listeners.. that how would you become one with him? Sahab is referring himself as the one , which we are born to be but we deviate from that path ..PATH?? path towards our highest potential..

Now he is explaining the reasons that why does this deviation happen?

He tells what he observes but we rely on the texts/scriptures/books .. which is not wrong but according to him , everyone has to do it for himself/herself and we can not leave the most important part ie observation of the self and world..

He makes things easy by just telling what he is seeing , but we unnecessarily complicate things due to our own pity self interests.

He reminds us to stay awake {awake not in the sense of this usual awakening , but a more subtle one in which you are aware of yourself and the world} but we again and again sleep {loose that awareness}

He is suggesting us to be detached but we get attached with things and people again and again.

He says, even after reminding us for so long , no one really understands what he is trying to explain..

He says that you keep on roaming here and there such as a bird keeps roaming all its life (it is used as a symbol that we keep on searching things outside always) but on the cost of loosing the real wealth (inner peace and awareness)

At last, he says that the true guru is like a pure and pristine stream of water, offering the flow of sacred knowledge.

This knowledge has the power to cleanse our impurities , but only if we are willing to align our body and mind in the right direction and be receptive to this wisdom.

And only when we truly listen, understand, and practice the teachings of the guru will we become what the guru intends for us to be. In other words, when we internalize the guru’s wisdom, we will advance towards self-realization and ENLIGHTENMENT(as they say)..

