Honda NSX, codenamed NA1, was launched in 1990. In 2001, Honda Motor Co., Ltd. launched a facelifted version of the NSX, codenamed NA2. The two Honda NSXs are theoretically the same mid-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car. Appearance-wise, the popup headlights of the NSX NA1 became the fixed headlight of the NSX NA2. The 3,000cc V6 DOHC VTEC engine when the NA1 was launched was upgraded to 3,200cc in 1997.
