Summer is almost here and so are the festival bangers that go along with it in the EDM world.

Making an anthemic festival lead in Sylenth1 is actually pretty quick and easy and you don't need a lot of external processing to get it to sound big.

You can choose any combinations of waveforms you like, but it does help to introduce a noise waveform in one of your oscillators to make the sound bigger and more present. Using 8 voices will also help make your sound very thick.

To really get an anthemic festival lead in Sylenth1 to sound huge, adding delay and reverb will help. Using a ping-pong delay and turning up the width in the delay module will help make your sound seem very wide in the stereo spectrum.

Finally, don't be afraid to use the Modulation Envelopes in Sylenth. They can really help take a sound from "Good" to "Great".

Check out the video to hear the sound and see how it's made.
