Sweet Falls (also called Kshaid Weitden, in the native dialect) is a waterfall in Shillong. It lies about 5 km from Happy Valley and is about 96 metres (315 ft) in height. It is often termed as the "most beautiful" yet "most dangerous" waterfall in Shillong. Most tourist cab operators omit this spot from the regular Shillong spots but this is something one should not miss. The Sweet Falls is a popular picnic spot surrounded by verdant greenery and filled with the sounds of the chirping birds.
