Mahadev Khola Dham is an ancient Hindu temple located in Shillong, Meghalaya. Believed to be about 150 years old, it is one of the oldest temples in Meghalaya and among the famous places of pilgrimage in Shillong. It is believed that the shiva lingam placed here was discovered by the Subedar Major of the 8th Gurkha Rifles when he was exploring the area after he saw it in a dream. Like all other Shiva temples, the Mahadev Khola Dham is a great attraction during Mahashivratri.
