Today I'm getting my first experience of taking the night sleeper bus. I'm leaving Amritsar and heading to Bikaner. The thing about these night sleeper buses is that they leave late in the evening and arrive super early in the morning. I arrived at 4 am in a city I'm unfamiliar with and without any hotel reservations. Luckily it wasn't busy and I didn't have to deal with too many people. The first hotel I went to didn't work out but the guy was super helpful and pointed me to a place that would suit me better.

Once I had rested a bit, I got out and explored the city a bit. At first, I thought it wouldn't be that busy of a city but it still was pretty loud and noisy, especially around the railway station. I still was able to catch the pretty cool fort and I also ran into a statue of the third prime minister of India, Indira Gandhi.
