Also a word derived from first nations - "Barrenjuee" (meaning little kangaroo or wallaby) - Barrenjoey is the most northern tip of Sydney's Northern Beaches region as well as the Pittwater waterway. The headland is made up primarily of sandstones rising up 100m from the ocean.
