Construction of temporary Garbagriha for Goddess Durga.

The Goddess will be shifted here as part of restoration of the ancient Cholakkara Durga temple in Malappuram.

The temple was destroyed during 1921 Moplah riots.

#ReclaimTemples is a movement to restore the ancient temples in ruins and reclaim those under encroachment. Under the project, extensive documentation is being undertaken to locate the temples in ruins and document its history. Also the temples in ruins are being restored and worship is revived.
