Nepal is home to so many festivals, with some many colourful Nepali dances and singing. Myself and ‪@kayyywild‬ were lucky enough to be in Bhaktapur, Nepal just at the right time to experience the Nepali festival of Gai Jatra. Known in English as the festival of the cow - it is to celebrate the passing of family members from the previous year. It includes some amazingly beautiful masks and the hitting of sticks. We had the absolute best time here and even got to try some more Newari food and visit a Buddhist monastery! I would highly recommend everyone to experience Gai Jatra if you can or any Nepalese festival for that matter 😊
