Day 3 walking in the Nepali Himalayas and today is the day we try for the final push to Kyanjin Gompa but not before passing through the old remote village of Langtang that was in great part destroyed during the 2015 earthquake after a devastating avalanche. The sheer size of the landslide no-man's-land is humbling. In Langtang village I go looking for the the daughter of the Yak Man whom I met the previous day at the yak ranch since I had promised him to go find her. There at around 3500 meters she alone manages the guesthouse.
