Today is a cloudy day with strong winds. After breakfast, the gorillas Ngoro and Akiki ventured out into the yard for a stroll. However, a small problem quickly arose: they both had their eyes set on the terrace, each wanting it all to themselves.

Ngoro was the first to make a move, climbing onto the terrace with a pronounced pout, clearly unimpressed by the situation. Not one to be outdone, Akiki mirrored Ngoro’s pout and began circling the terrace, contemplating his next move. After a moment of deliberation, Akiki decided to roll playfully on the grass beside the terrace, perhaps hoping to catch Ngoro’s eye and prompt him to leave.

Sure enough, Ngoro, albeit reluctantly, eventually descended from his perch, sulkily settling onto the lawn. Seizing the moment, Akiki gracefully ascended the terrace, basking in the breeze with a look of pure contentment. But Ngoro wasn’t about to give up entirely. He returned, this time positioning himself on the lower step of the terrace, as if to keep a watchful eye over his “territory.”

The playful rivalry between Ngoro and Akiki added a touch of charm and personality to the blustery day.
