This video captures a heartwarming moment on the morning of September 1st. Queen Dalila and her baby Makongo enjoyed some time soaking up the sunshine in the yard. Afterward, Dalila gently brought baby Makongo back inside.

To provide Dalila and baby Makongo with the best possible care, the other gorillas were temporarily kept indoors. We hope that under Dalila’s attentive care, baby Makongo will soon rejoin the group and reunite with his father and sister.
