Every shop eventually needs a scrap wood storage cart. I looked around for ideas for a scrap wood storage cart and found one in an article on FineWoodworking.com (https://www.finewoodworking.com/2012/....

This was the right idea but I wanted one a little bigger so I made mine 4 feet wide rather than 3. I also wanted to be able to change the size of the compartments so I made the dividers removable. Lastly, the Fine Woodworking storage cart used dados for all of the joinery and utilized a lot of bevel cuts which I didn't feel like messing with so I used pocket screws and ditched the bevels.

The Fine Woodworking article has an exploded view with a few dimensions but I still drew this in SketchUp before I got started so I could have a cut list.
