I tackle a couple of annoying outstanding jobs - the rear upper top hub knuckle or rose joint extraction and replacing the rotating rear upper suspension bush bolt on my Land Rover Discovery 3 (LR3).

Context: Way back at the beginning of August I inspected the right side rear upper suspension arm on my Land Rover Discovery 3 (LR3) and identified two issues. The upper hub rose or knuckle joint had a split rubber boot and the front suspension bush was rotating. I had the new fixings for the suspension bush, however when I put everything back together the bolt would not torque and started to spin - meaning it had likely threaded. So I ordered more replacement parts expecting to finish the repair in the next few weeks. But my plans were forever changed when I was called in for a kidney transplant, so everything went on hold until I had recovered enough to attempt any more Land Rover repairs.
