First time use instructions for your HexClad Cookware.

You only have to season your cookware once. After, it will continue to season itself from all of the natural fats and oils in the food you will be cooking. The only time we would recommend re-seasoning is if you decide to wash your pans in the dishwasher (dish washing detergent can be harsh).

They recommend vegetable oil but you can use grapeseed oil, olive oil or avacado oil.
