hi everyone Susan here director of the
Center for better bones you know many of
you have asked me about this situation
where you get a loose stool with
magnesium in fact many of my clients
even say I can't take magnesium I get a
loose stool some even say I get a wicked
diarrhea now I've had a chance to
explore this with my mentor dr. Russell
Jaffe one of the major researchers in
nutritional medicine and he actually has
done research on this topic showing that
indeed the people who are sensitive to
magnesium who get a loose stool from
magnesium are actually the people who
need it most
as it turns out in the intestine there's
a certain 80 ph that allows for the
absorption of magnesium that can get
damaged or let's say clogged up with
heavy metals pesticides toxins
plasticizers and we aren't able to take
up magnesium the result is irritation to
the gut and we get a loose stool there
is a solution to this and it's very
important to find the solution because
magnesium is really essential not only
to bone health and heart health but
overall health
the solution is to use this choline a
form of choline called choline citrate
dr. Jaffe has developed this in a
particular form that will allow you to
correct that block to magnesium uptake
so you'll be able to take the magnesium
and absorb it and also get it into the
cells what we want to do is deliver
magnesium to the cells and magnesium by
the way is one of the major alkalizing
factors intracellular magnesium is very
important how it works you take a
teaspoon of this with your magnesium
most people maybe take a supplement with
magnesium twice a day take a teaspoon of
this each time or if you take the
magnesium supplement or a supplement
we'll make these him three times a day
take a teaspoon of this each time and
you will find that it corrects the block
to magnesium uptake and you do much
better absorbing and using the magnesium
if you want a research article on this
this is dr. Jackie's article we'd be
happy to
where he really discusses all the
technical details of that block to
magnesium uptake and how you can correct
it the long and the short of it is if
you're one of those people that says
magnesium gives you loose stool it means
quite simply you need more magnesium so
not that you want to have diarrhea you
want to take that magnesium up in the
intestine and in the cell and the
choline citrate and you'll be able to do
that so give it a try let me know how it
goes and I think you'll get great
results take care talk soon
