High Point hosted UMBC on an overcast Saturday and put the absolute smack down on UMBC by a final score of 22-13. It was close early with High Point jumping out to an early 4-1 lead, but UMBC stormed back tieing the game up at 4's with 4:21 left in the first. High Point would again jump up by 4 goals, this time 9-5 prior to allowing UMBC to get back to within 9-6. But that was all she wrote. High Point outscored UMBC 13-7 through the remainder of the game.

Chris Young broke High Points record for goals in a single game with 7 goals on the day. Asher Nolting continued his tear putting up 2 goals and 5 helpers. Ben Baker had a big day with 4 goals and a dish, and Dalton Sulver scored 1 goal and 3 assists for High Point in the win. Asher Nolting was outstanding on the day drawing slides from all over the field hitting both Chris Young and Ben Baker on numerous occasions with nice feeds. Nolting is an animal so far in 2019.

UMBC was paced by Steven Zichelli's 2 goals and an assist.
