Crews expect to complete paving the connector road to the new bridge at the Duke Energy Canal by October 4. Once paving is complete, crews will add erosion controls and complete the drainage ditches. Additionally, the road shoulders need to be built up, guardrails need to be installed, and pavement markings need to be added. This section of road should be completed by October 15.

At Dutchman's creek, the contractor has completed the coffer dam and started to lay the base that will hold the drainage pipes in place. Once the pipes are in place, the site will be turned over to the crew that built the connector road at the Duke Energy Canal to lay a new section of road. This work is likely to take a couple of weeks to complete.
