EFFECTIVENESS is the last skill in the Core Mindfulness category and one of the most important when it comes to achieving your goals. EFFECTIVENESS asks that you are always mindful of what your goals are and that you play by the rules and do what works in order to achieve your goals. It asks that you try not to let your emotion mind get in the way of doing the right thing for you. Another example of EFFECTIVENESS not mentioned in the video is letting go of wanting to be right in an argument and doing what's best for your relationship or friendship. Sometimes being effective is NOT doing what you want to do to stay out of trouble. ;-)
