For those PSION Organiser II LZ owners and Student Surveyors looking to practice. Let's consider the LandPack Land Surveying Programme for Closed Traverse and Levelling Operations. This video should introduce the LandPack by using Jape the PSION Organiser II Emulator to run through an example of a 5 station traverse. Data is entered and recorded, Face Left and Face Right readings are reduced, and errors are shown, mean angles produced for horizontal and vertical readings. Plan Distances and Reduced Levels are calculated from slope distance and vertical angles. Bearings and Final Coordinates are produced with adjustments by Bowditch's Method. The whole project is then printed via Psi2Win ready for plotting out to scale.
