If you're interested in trying the Japanese woodworking technique kumiko, you're going to need strips that make up the patterns. This is my technique for cutting kumiko strips using common power tools like a jointer, thickness planer, and a table saw.
This is an easy and approachable method for creating consistent and reliable strips in about a quarter of the time it takes to do it by hand. Please leave me a thumbs up if you learned something from this video — and subscribe for more kumiko and woodworking tutorials and videos!
