Hello everyone, welcome to my kitchen!!!

Here's a recipe that will give you chocolate chip cookies with a crunchy outside and a soft, chewy inside:

Ingredients:
- 120g unsalted butter, softened
- 50g granulated sugar
- 60g brown sugar, packed
- 1 eggs
- 150g all-purpose flour
- 2g baking soda
- 2g baking powder
- 100g semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 50g chopped chocolate
- 1/2 cup (80g) walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

1. **Preheat the Oven**: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

2. **Cream Butter and Sugars**: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes. This step is crucial for achieving that crunchy exterior.

3. **Add Eggs **: Beat in the egg, Mix until well combined.

4. **Combine Dry Ingredients**: Add dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder)
mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

6. **Fold in Chocolate Chips**: Gently fold in the chocolate chips and chopped nuts, if using.

7. **Chill the Dough (Optional)**: For thicker cookies with a chewier center, chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

8. **Form Cookies**: Scoop out the dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.

9. **Bake**: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown but the centers are still slightly soft.

10. **Cool**: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Tips for Perfect Texture:
- *Granulated Sugar* helps create that crispy edge, while the *brown sugar* keeps the center moist and chewy.
- **Don’t overbake**: The cookies may look slightly underdone in the middle, but they will continue to cook on the baking sheet as they cool, giving you that perfect soft interior.
- *Chilling the dough* helps control the spread of the cookies, leading to a chewier center.

These cookies will have a delicious contrast between the crunchy edges and the soft, chewy middle!
