Whirlpool cabrio dryer was not working , saying “sensing”. In diagnostic mode I got three codes, F30, F28, and F1. After referencing the manual and trying to figure out each code I read a random post online someone saying the Thermal sensor can cause the machine to give erroneous codes, just random ones. $8 later it was fixed.
