Edema:

• Edema is a condition in which excess fluid gets trapped under
the body tissue
• This condition usually affects the hands, ankles, legs and feet
• Edema is not a disease in itself but an indicator of an
underlying health problem.

Symptoms to look for:

• Swelling around the affected area

Causes:

• Pregnancy
• Hot weather
• Excessive intake of salt and coffee

Natural home remedy using coriander seeds:

1. Soak 3 tbsp of coriander seeds in 1 glass water
2. Boil till only half the water remains
3. Strain the mixture
4. Allow it to cool
5. Drink it 2 times a day

Natural home remedy using barley:

1. Soak 3 tbsp of barley in 1 glass of water
2. Leave it overnight
3. Strain the mixture
4. Drink 2 glasses every day till the condition is cured

Natural home remedy using parsley leaves:

1. Crush parsley leaves to make a paste
2. Apply the paste on the swelling
3. Leave it for 30 min
4. Wash off with water
5. Repeat 2 times a day
