केंद्र सरकारने काल कांद्यावरील किमान निर्यात मूल्य काढले आणि निर्यात शुल्क कमी करून २० टक्के केले. सरकारच्या या निर्णयामुळे कांद्याच्या भावात कालच्या तुलनेत आज क्विंटलमागे जवळपास ३०० ते ५०० रुपयांची वाढ झाली. कांदा भाव आज ४ हजार ७०० ते ५ हजार रुपयांच्या दरम्यान पोचला. यापुढे कांद्याच्या भावात आणखी सुधारणा होईल. पण सरकारने हा निर्णय घ्यायला उशीर केला. कारण बहुतांशी शेतकऱ्यांनी कांदा विकल्याने काही शेतकऱ्यांनाच वाढलेल्या भावाचा फायदा होणार आहे.

The central government yesterday removed the minimum export value on onions and reduced the export duty to 20 percent. Due to this decision of the government, the price of onion increased by almost Rs 300 to Rs 500 per quintal today compared to yesterday. Onion price reached between 4 thousand 700 to 5 thousand rupees today. Henceforth the price of onion will improve further.
