THE CROSSOVER JUMP ROPE TRICK | BOXING | JUMP ROPE

Here are action shots from the Jump Rope Masterclass I delivered at Paramount Boxing in Stockport, England - coaching the Boxers how to perform the Cross Over Jump Rope Trick.

As the group had a real mix of boxing & jump rope experience we took the skill right back to the beginning before progressing to performing the Cross Over back to back with different types of footwork.

The key to learning the Crossover is understanding how to cross your arms and get into the best position with your wrists, creating enough of a loop to jump through it.

Practising the Cross with a Toe Catch is the best way to learn this.

We then progressed to adding the jumps before and after the Crossover.

As the boxers practised - I then pushed those who can perform the Crossover by seeing if they can hit back to back Crossovers & Consecutive Crossovers.
