How to roast the best potatoes of you life, this method will give you the best, perfect, crispy roast potatoes ever. This method is inspired by J Kenji Lopez Alt and its by far the best roast potato recipe I've tried.

In terms of flavour, crispy exterior and soft, light fluffiness there is no better recipe.

How to Roast The Best Potatoes Of Your Life. The Best Perfect Crispy Roast Potatoes Ever.

Potatoes (any roasting potatoes will do)
Water (for boiling)
1Teaspoon of Baking soda or Bicarbonate of soda
1 Tablespoon of Salt
Garlic (about one clove per potato)
A bunch of Rosemary
6 Tablespoons of Olive oil (try and get the good stuff, Extra Virgin)
Salt and Pepper to season
Fresh parsley (optional)

Pre Heat your oven at 400*F/200*C when you start boiling the potatoes. Once they have been boiled, strained and tossed in the infused olive oil then place on a baking tray (each potato should be separated)

Roast in the oven for 20 minutes, remove give the potatoes a flip and pop them back in the oven for a further 25 minutes. Then check and flip again and place them back in the oven for a final 10 minutes or until they are perfect and crispy.

Once they are ready toss them in the garlic and rosemary mixture before serving. Effin Delicious.
