Influenced by Indonesian food, Indian food, and foods from around the world, Suriname is a foodie paradise! In this food tour of Suriname, we try one of the best Indonesian Restaurants, Taman Indah in Paramaribo, and it was the best food the country has to offer; a full platter of curry chicken, soy chicken, cocoanut rice, fried bananas, noodles, and so much more. Then it was on to a restaurant in a home in a small village to try home cooked curry and roti! This was total food nirvana!
