Digitized historical sources from the National Archives in Denmark makes it easy to find your heritage and relatives in the Danish West Indies - today the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Vibeke Tuxen's great-grandparents came from the Danish West Indies. She became interested in genealogy when she found a jounal from her grandfather and started digging into the family history in the documents in the Danish National Archives from the three Caribbean islands, St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John. As a result today Vibeke Tuxen feels that she knows her grandfather very well.
