I heard about a very large and unusual geologic feature, that was ingeniously used by ancient humans for a very specific purpose.

So, I decided to hike out to it during a spectacular sunset.

This beautiful place left me breathless, and fascinated by the way people used to live in relation to their natural surroundings.
