Do you own an Akai MPK Mini and don't think your pads are sensitive enough? Do you like looking at the insides of awesome devices? (You dirty pervert) If you said YES to either of those, then this video is for YOU!

In this episode of SWAT, we take apart the Akai MPK Pro Mini and increase the pad sensitivity for FREE...well pretty much anyway.

The whole process takes about an hour and only requires some pliers for removing the knobs, a small (#1) screwdriver to open it up, some electrical tape for padding the pads, and some scissors for cutting the tape.

Some people used three strips of tape, some two, but we found that those caused problems. It made it too sensitive and all the pads lit up without even touching it. So, we just use one strip per side of the pad.

This process WILL void your warranty, so do at your own risk and with the supervision of an adult, even a child-like adult. And if you think you're an adult, don't act like a child and complain for screwing up your Akai...we did it several times and ours is just fine.
