From January 24th, 1972 to August 11th, 1976, 41 1150 was stationed at BW Meiningen.
On February 3, 2006, the locomotive, now based in Nördlingen, returned to Thuringia.
41 1150 from the Bavarian Railway Museum pulled scheduled freight trains between Eisenach and Meiningen for two days and, as usual, loudly attracted attention.
