Yeah... and it was like... the entire time I was trying to plan on going places... like I wanted to see everything... and making plans... and then...! Matsuri! Something called matsuri... some people at the hostel said that this would be cool. So I went. I think one of the girls in that last picture was a professional soccer player....

Oh that conveyor belt sushi... I wish I spent a day... I mean... I could easily just spent a day drinking and eating at one of these.... then hit an arcade... I think I did once... but this is the best thing in the world. It was awesome.... you see? Tamago! 99 Yen! At this time it was basically $1 = 100 yen... Look at that awesome sushi for very cheap btw... way better than anything I had in the USA and I worked at a sushi bar once... which was really good... and they cut their own fish so actually they were really good also...

Anyway... enjoy matsuri... it is an honor to witness other culture's celebrations.

BTW - I finally got to eat food on sticks. The fish... it was covered in salt, had its guts hanging out... I took a bite of the tail and it was all salt and my mouth filled up with saliva like an autoimmune response. The Squid on a stick... fabulous! Highly recommended if you like squid and stick food. Oh I also had cartoon food on a stick! Look at that picture with me and the small meat stick... so good... like something Luffy would eat but smaller.

The turtles kind of made me sad... like these fair games where the prize is a small turtle that is a life... as opposed to a small plastic kazoo ready to be thrown out. Cheap. Life is cheap. Nature doesn't care. It is ours to pillage. We do that at fairs in the USA anyway... rabbit's foot charms at church fairs and small pets you will let die.
