This week marks an exciting (& life improving) time, as we prepare to install a HUGE solar upgrade on our off-grid farm renovation! Our current solar power setup has served us well in day to day life & providing energy for our ongoing stone cabin building project, but with autumn, wet weather & dwindling daylight hours just around the corner, we’re doubling the electricity we can generate for free from the beautiful Portuguese sunshine 🌞

Progress on the tiny stone house shifts up a gear as Ricky’s stone wall building gets quicker & he finds a more efficient technique to work the raw material. Meanwhile in our homestead veggie garden, Victoria kicks off the plan to protect future growing seasons from pesky pests & is evicting the rodent intruders once & for all!
