This is how I build a Dizzy Bowl sometimes called a Twister
The turning portion is pretty simple compared to the cutting and gluing stages. The shape is defined by the joints.
It ended up 8 inch diameter and 4.25 tall and the base is 3.15 inch in diameter.
You are cutting a lot of end grain so carbide probably works better. Although I used mostly bowl gouges this time.
I tried to explain the process but if you have any questions let me know.
