il-festa ta' San Gejtanu fil-Ħamrun/ The feast of St Cajetan in Hamrun, is celebrated mostly over the weekend, apart from being one of the biggest on the island, its known for the rivalry between the St Joseph and the St Cajetan band clubs. The festa is Big, Bustling & Colourful, and the stairs in front of the church that would make anyone think twice about running up !! let along carrying a massive statue, This an exciting moment when the riffreija ( carriers ) run up 9 stairs at the end of the march ...Did they make it ?
