Three days or more are normal for a Maltese "festa" or village feast. There will undoubtedly be hundreds of people having a good time on any one of these evenings. Fast food and traditional food vendors compete with one another to sell their goods to the throngs of revellers. Nougat of the Maltese variety, popcorn and other sweet treats are typical goods.

In Gzira the festa involves a procession with the blessed sacrament and the statue of Our Lady.
I also interview a man about faith and tradition who had an interesting reply to my questions.
