This is just an overview of the earthquake simulation from the Mw8.7 Sunda Strait Megathrust, Java, Indonesia. This video aims to map the potential if a large earthquake occurs which is generated by the megathrust zone fault segment in the south of Banten. It is not meant to frighten, but to strengthen mitigation preparedness and vigilance in dealing with this potential. So as to minimize the number of casualties. This earthquake is the worst possibility that it can cause tsunami waves.
