Weimar of the modern age, the Weimar of the Bauhaus. Two
seemingly completely different cultural worlds. How did the
Weimar of Goethe become the Weimar of the Bauhaus? How did modernism come to Weimar? From Carl Alexander to Nietzsche, Van de Velde to Harry Graf Kessler, many have contributed to this change.
