These are the recordings of a 3-Day intensive workshop to create original creature designs.

DAY 2: After a free exploration of shapes and silhouettes, the next stage is to ground the design. This process is where we make more conscious decisions to make the design balanced and appealing. In ZBrush will take the prototype sketch and quickly clean the topology to add further high-frequency details.

In this video we are going to create a custom brush to detail the mesh using the 'compound detail' method starting from the sculpting of a single pore in the skin and then using that detail to create a more dense and detailed alpha.
