I made this video to help myself and any other artist or creative person navigate what seems to be a complicated route to their identity as an artist. Are you a 'filmmaker' - What does this mean? Are you an Artist? Are you an actor or YouTuber? Is one more qualified than the other based on a title?

I called up 4 YouTubers: Casey Neistat, Peter McKinnon, Sam Kolder and Sara Dietschy. As well as 4 multi award winning film directors: Salomon Ligthelm, Tristan Holmes, Zwelethu Radebe and Jolynn Minnaar and posed the offensive statement "Filmmaking is NOT art" to evoke a passion driven response that in turn helped me to understand that there is no separation between a titled film director, YouTuber or artist, one shouldn't focus on what is or isn't art, its rather about your motive behind creating in the first place and how much you're willing to compromise. BUT the artists in the video say it much better than my description so I hope you get something meaningful out of it Bru!
