A former industrial site that operated from the early 1920s to the early 1990s, the Coal Loader is found on the northern side of Sydney Harbour. It was built as a transfer depot for coal from bulk carriers to smaller coal-fired vessels before being decommissioned.

In this scene we follow the edge of the elevated platform built beside the water which housed a large coal stockpile. We then review what remains of the Coal Loader today - a skeleton of decaying timber which is a far cry from its heyday.
