This video will be on a helmet i acquired in fairly rough shape but decided to have restored to what is probably better then the condition it was issued in. The helmet shell is an original 1944 produced from seam swivel bale with the OD7 webbing chinstrap with brass hardware. The liner is a Korean War pattern Westinghouse liner which could have originated in wwii but was assembled or updated in the Korean War. I had these sent off to be restored to use as a helmet given as aid to Canadian soldiers during the last year of the Korean War.
