Today I'm showing you how I made this beautiful sushi board and some delicious spam musubi.
I wanted to do something a little bit different for the finish on the sushi board so I burnt it to a crisps and locked in the char with a wood hardener. this finish is called tsuyaki, and its a type of yakisugi or shou sugi ban.
The Spam is a lovely Hawaiian recipe that I had once in Honolulu.
