First start of the homemade Delong 29 diesel engine. I had to look quite a bit for the needle settings and once in the ballpark it started out way too compressed and once I figured that out it was running fine. Seems very good already and it pops with surpricingly low compression.

Was a bit too squeeky at the beginning but I think it will be fine. Ran with some added castor in fuel (35% total oil).

Started fading in the end as it ran pretty hot propably due still quite tight fitting of the piston.

Will have to let it cool properly and for the next start I have a lot better understanding of the needed settings. Good times 👍🏼
