Persona 2 Innocent Sin Review Sins of our Past is inspired by certain events that take place in the game where the characters reflect on their Past Sins Hopefully, this video does inspire you to check out Persona 2 whether that be Innocent Sin or Persona 2 Eternal Punishment. As Persona 2 is underrated. This is a follow-up to my Persona 1 Review Dreaming of Butterflies so please check that out.

Alright, it’s been a bit since I last covered the Persona series. So after taking a small break from the series, I’m more motivated than ever to get back into the swing of things. Despite my personal feelings towards the original Persona, the game sold very well, especially when you consider the size of Atlus at the time. Atlus would be crazy to not capitalize on this success and around three years later in 1999 we were introduced to Persona 2 Innocent sin… only in Japan.

Alright let’s just get into this now. Persona 2 is actually a duology. The first part, innocent sin, was originally never released worldwide initially. The reasoning for which has never been officially stated, but it’s most likely because some of the game’s imagery could’ve stirred up a lot of controversy. We did however end up getting the second part of the duology, Eternal Punishment, in the year 2000.
