I am so excited to share this video with you! I have been thinking about this project for YEARS! Finally, everything came together and in less than a week my good friend Anth, with a little hinderance from me, transformed a wet, muddy patch of ground into a magnificent Wildlife Pond.
This is Part ONE and you will see the pond being created to the point of starting to fill it with water in a very unique way. When my Garden Team and Anth have spent some more time helping me to establish more features around this place I will make Part TWO so this is a very good reason to have the notification bell switched ON so you don't miss future updates. The drone I used is the DGI Mini 3 Pro
The fleeces have no monetary value, the sheep are shorn in the summer for their own comfort, the fleeces are disposed of for a few pennies.
The carpet was in a skip and was perfect for our purpose, being hessian backed and not foam backed which would have introduced nasty chemicals into the ground.
All other materials used were either things Anth had in his huge collection of Useful Things, or were available locally.
The pond liner was the biggest material expense. It was supplied by PondXpert. It has a 40 year guarantee so it will outlast me!
