There is not much gardening or cabin building going on just now as the ground is frozen and my fingers and toes are too! So it is important to keep the little birds well fed and happy. I feed Sunflower Hearts, Mixed Seed, Cracked Peanuts, Niger Seeds, and that mix I made with Peanut Butter. The visitors include Blue Tit, Goldfinch, Robin, Blackbird and Thrush, Woodpecker, Greenfinch, Long Tailed Tit, Bullfinch, Chaffinch, Brambling, Wren, Treecreeper, Sparrow, Siskin and of course those Rooks and Jackdaws and a few Phesants! Not to mention Eileen my Goose!
It has been a challenge to keep the water topped up as it freezes over quite quickly, but I can pop out a couple of times a day to top it up.
These birds give me so much pleasure as they flit about the garden - I hope you enjoy them too!
Anna chose some great music for this video! It is from Epidemic Sound and is called 'Midwinter' and 'Textures'

I'll be back as the Spring unfolds and there are more things waking up in my Garden, but for now, stay WARM and enjoy whatever you are doing!
