Something a little different on this channel in a military night shoot.

This is a film from RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire on 2nd May 2024.

It includes the newly repainted display jet known as Moggy, which has a camo scheme together with the D-Day invasion stripes.

The scheme resembles that of a 257 Sqn. Hawker Typhoon aircraft of WWII.

The unique aspect of the night shoot is the dim glow from the exhausts in the dry power take-offs, which cannot be seen in daylight.

Whilst reheated take-offs from UK Typhoon aircraft are relatively rare, ones in night time conditions are almost non-existent, and this video include 4 of them!

The daytime action from this shoot will be released within days, and will include the first sunny display of the new 2024 Typhoon Display Team jet.
